Shane's Club began in June 2002 with a small group of committed families and has grown to almost 1,000 members today!  We have helped other communities launch inclusive play clubs nationally and internationally, from East Los Angeles to Calabasas and from Fort Collins, CO to Bangalore, India!  We have registered "My Play Club" as the name of our national community outreach program.  Our Los Angeles club name remains, "Shane's Club" named in memory of our co-founders' son, Shane Williams.
 
We invite you to join us for this free club for children of ALL abilities that meets monthly for a Play Date at one of Shane's Inspiration's Universally Accessible Playgrounds.  Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, and Snacks are provided (but please feel free to bring a sack lunch).  We always have volunteers from local community groups who buddy with children with disabilities.  It's a great way to spend the day at the park!

Be a Shane’s Buddy
Kids can be paired up with one of our Shane’s Club members for the dayto participate together in the planned activities. They will have theopportunity to get to know someone special, who they might not normally meet.
